low-income, undocumented, and disabled people in
obtaining a low - cost insurance or Medi-Cal coverage.
CINCO works with the Los Angeles County Department of
Health Services which is Childrens Health Outreach
Initiative. This program focuses on increasing access to
healthcare by assisting families to enroll in health
coverage programs. Over the last 2 years our team has
outreached to a total of 11,400 individuals to inform
them of the health insurance programs that CINCO offer
assistance for. CINCO has enrolled 2,600 individuals
into various health coverage programs such as Healthy
Kids, Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Kaiser Permanent and
AIM for pregnant women. Our program is unique because we
not only outreach to families and assist them with
enrollment, but we conduct case management to ensure
that those families retain those benefits. Also, we
partnering with Volunteer Center of Los Angeles, Court
Referred Community Services program. These are so far
that I'm aware of. Attached you may find a flyer with
the programs provided.
